Time for a Diary post

Dear Diary,

Yesterday, I tried to get stuck into my Research asssignment which is due in 2wks time. That in itself isn't too bad a timeframe as I can write an assignment reasonably quickly. But the fact that I still have another assignment due a couple of days after this one, that I haven't even looked at is a worry. And the fact that this Research assignment is hard. It is the hardest assignment in my 3yrs of Uni. Did I mention that I tried to get stuck into it?? Well, I managed almost 900 of 3000 words. That is a start. Not as good as my last assignment, which I completed 1900 useful words in one day. Anyways, it is started at least.

2nd thing: University placement list is out. I am at the Army base for 4wks from beginning of May, which is good. I am at Charters Towers for 2wks Mental Health placement just afterwards which isn't good. The Clinical co-ordinator told me I had done my away placements - 3wks in Herberton, and 6wks in Innisfail. Now I have to do 2wks in Charters Towers. Okay, Charters Towers is nearly 2hrs away, and not 3hrs like Innisfail, but it is still away - Bummer, what a way to spend my final placement for Uni :-(

3rd thing: My son amazed me a couple of times this week. First, my husband had a few days off, which meant he was letting R ride her bike, and I was driving PAC to Daycare. That worked until Friday morning. PAC had cottoned on to R going on the bike, and DID NOT want to go in the car. It was so funny, he really wanted to go on the bike. We then asked him and got a big NOD - YES!! So, lucky we have a baby seat on our Adults bike. P took him on the bike, and we had happy kids all round. Then this morning, I was taking R to the shops to buy a birthday present for a girl's party tomorrow. I said (in general) "Who is coming with me to the shops?" Well, R raised her hand, but little P - got up and walked over to me and raised his hands up to be picked-up. ROTFL - he didn't want to be left behind!! My they understand more than you realise at times.

We went out for tea last night. I was still dressed in sloppy clothes, when R walked into the room and told me how pretty I looked, ready to go out. Bless her - it doesn't matter how you look, she will tell you how pretty you are.

That's it from me Diary, until another day!

LOL Bless her heart, little cutie, indeed! Yes, P understanding all that! Wow, that's great :).

Good luck on those assignments. You can do it. Just put your mind to it and it'll be done with some hard work. When you're done, you'll be very proud of yourself with justification, and so will I! Thanks for the lovely compliment on my fitness blog. (((((Ra'Phil)))))) you're a sweetie :)
